Taizé Evensong

St John's has the great privilege of hosting a Taizé choir. We have a monthly Taizé service that includes scripture, chanting and singing, prayer and meditation. A wonderful way to recharge on the first Sunday of every month. Folks from across the city enjoy this quiet service. All are welcome.

Healing Service with Holy Unction at the Altar Rail

Service and Holy Unction at the Altar Rail, immediately after the church
service. During this brief service, the Daughters offer healing prayers and
intercession for all those who desire. The Healing Service is followed by the

Originally a Prayer Shawl ministry, it has morphed into a time when all those who enjoy hobbies can get together. We enjoy watching what others are doing from month to month. Please join us if you are a hobbyist who enjoys being with others, as we talk, laugh and create! We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 6 pm in the Parlor. All are invited.

Windsong Chamber Choir Winter Concert

The Windsong Chamber Choir will present its Winter Concert, Spirituals and Hymns, on Sunday, January 18th at 3pm here at St. John’s! The concert will be 90 minutes with one 15 minute intermission. Music selections range from Spirituals, such as “The Battle of Jericho” and “Witness” to contemporary arrangements of beloved hymns, such as “It Is Well with My Soul” and “Nearer My God to Thee”. The program also features Stephen Paulus’ 7 movement composition “Hymns”, which includes his piece “The Road Home”, a very well-known choral anthem across the world. The concert is free of charge, and tickets are not required. Regional Food Bank Service Opportunity
